60 Pillars - Complete!

After almost 8 months of planning and preparing — 4 days of intense 60 Pillars training went by just like that. I always wish I had an extra day.

Some students waited 2 years for this class; some waited years to fly to Malaysia and attend a live training. Thank you for your patience, fortitude, and most of all, trust.

Trust is a humbling responsibility.

I asked one student who flew in from Washington, how did she learn about me or my work? She said some years ago, a friend recommended my FB page. The first post she’d read was of me ‘reprimanding’ someone.

But she continued: it was reassuring for her that a spiritual teacher would risk offending people by speaking his mind, instead of saying what sounds nice and expected, to pander to someone’s ego. And now, she’s here in person, flown 24 hrs, to learn more.

That meant a lot to me. I am reminded again: You never know who’s watching when you’re being true to yourself. When you speak your truth (as kindly as you can).

You’ll never fully know the ripple effects of your actions today. If you’re lucky — and if you live long enough — someone might travel across the globe just to remind you.

For all of you who joined me the last 4 days, from near and far, I wish for you that exhilaration of knowing and becoming true to yourself. The joy, acceptance, and clarity that comes with it.

Frankly, I don’t think there’s anything sexier and more precious than the freedom of self-awareness and self-love.
