Ascension is not a matter of denouncing one, but the ability to hold compassion for both — one half in the shadow, the other in the light.
Descension mirrors Ascension.
And as I stand between the two, partaking of the two, I have never felt more at ease, as the wars within me began to cease.
As below, so above. As we pacify our inner wars, so may all worldly conflict find their peace.
