Feb Full Moon - Fire Horse: The Return of Light & Radical Awakening

Sometimes, the different traditions coincide:

February 1st is a special full moon dedicated to the Supreme Goddesss Lalita Tripura; it is also Thaipusam, the victorious day of Murugan when he receives the Divine Spear from his Mother, Parvati. In the Celtic tradition this day is Imbolc, marking the first rays of light returning to earth after winter.

(3 days later, we also step into the Fire Horse year of the Chinese solar calendar…)

2026 will bring extremes, the highest and the lowest, both in the mundane world as well as the spiritual realms. Energetically, there will be a celebration of great light; simultaneously many will persist in unresolved shadow, finding something or someone to blame for their despair. We are poised for a showdown between the polarities of Awareness and Resentment – highlighting the lessons of Gemini (Mithuna) until June, before Jupiter moves in Cancer (Karka) for 12 months.

Two special topics for this full moon:

• Learning to recognize – and integrate – the (inevitable) polarity within ourselves. How do we ‘live spiritually’ and at the same time, function efficiently in the mundane world? (Hint: it does not equate to praying more in temples…)

• Hayagriva: the tantric secret of the Fire Horse as a source for self-healing and radical transformation. This will greatly inform your sadhana or decision-making for the year…

Culminating in a guided Full Moon meditation to integrate all past experiences, digest them, and sow new seeds of light for the coming year. If time permits, we will also do a collective oracle for the group – specific guidance and messages for the soul group of attendees.
